4th Annual Holiday Tea Features Heartland Opera Theatre

Updated:

Post art library hosted its fourth annual holiday tea with a musical performance from Heartland Opera Theatre.

The free, public event provided a sneak peek of the opera's upcoming performance Amahl and the Night Visitors.

Officials say providing experiences like this is part of the library's mission in serving the community.

"It's all about being able to provide access, not just to information, access to arts, access to culture and being in a public library, it's the perfect place for us to do that," said Jill Sullivan, Director of Joplin's Post Art Library.

Heartland Opera Theatre will present "Amahl and the Night Visitors" on December 14th.
