KOAM-TV is accepting applications for internships in the News Department. Candidates should be motivated, ambitious and have a solid work ethic. This is a fantastic opportunity for young journalists seeking to improve their skills and accelerate their career. Internships are unpaid, and the intern must be enrolled in a course that will give them credit for the internship.
Interns will gain valuable experience creating and telling stories for newscasts and on our digital platforms. Interns will receive training in videography, studio camera operation, video editing, news writing, producing, and reporting. The hours required for the internship will be determined by course requirements. Beginning and end of internships will likely coincide with school semesters.
Apply on line by sending your resume to firstname.lastname@example.org or by mail to Kristi Spencer, News Director, P.O. Box 659, Pittsburg, KS 66762.
