Authorities have charged a McCune Kansas woman with a string of arsons in the town occurring over a period of years. They arrested 46-year-old Sherry Kerby Monday evening on one count of setting fire to a home. On Tuesday they charged her with six more counts of arson of homes, including one that was occupied. Authorities say Kerby's arrest follows a nearly three-year investigation into the intentional burning of 13 structures. They say the fires began in November of 2015. The most recent was on July 3rd of this year. Kerby's bond is set at $350,000.
