An Emmy award winning story teller treated some kids at the Joplin Public Library to some toe-tapping tales. Bobby Norfolk presented Rhythms, Rhymes, and Raps to the kids. The 63-year-old has won three Emmys for his ability to turn traditional tales into creative raps filled with humor, vocal effects and more.
"It's a different way to capture attention and a different way to relay information to children and he did," says children's librarian Tammie Benham, "It takes a special person and a talented person to do something like this. To stand up in front of a room and a group of kids and parents and be able to engage them in this way."
