Crash In Southwest Missouri Claims Two Lives

The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the crash happened around 6:15 p.m. on June 9th, 2018 in Newton County about four miles east of Granby.

According to the crash report, a 19-year-old was driving a Nissan Altima heading west on US 60. The teen turned left onto Rt M in front of a Honda Motorcycle that was traveling east on US 60.

The motorcycle hit the side of the car ejecting both riders. 49-year-old Robin Henson of Exeter, MO and 43-year-old Kelly Utter of Monett, MO died at the scene.

The driver of the car was uninjured.

This is MSHP Troop D's 6th and 7th fatalities in June and 53rd and 54th in 2018.
