Jury Trial Scheduled In 2017 Christmas Even Shooting

A trial date has been set for a suspect in a December 2017 fatal shooting.

Police say on December 24th, 2017, Artilius Jordan went into an apartment on South Byers in Joplin, Missouri and confronted Sean Harris, believing Harris was having an affair with his girlfriend. Police say the other murder suspect, Moses Ramsey, encouraged Jordan to shoot Harris, which he allegedly did. Harris died at the hospital.

Prosecutors dropped the case against Moses Ramsey on April 6tn, 2018 due to lack of evidence.

Jordan is charged with first degree murder. His jury trial is scheduled for May 13th, 2019.
