Park Service cost-share grant to restore the original neon to this venerable 1939 structure! Below is an image taken some years ago when the original green neon was beneath the pink neon that was on the pitch roof, which was not original and was removed about two years ago, The neon will run the exterior of the original building, and on the ends of the 1946 rear structure. The neon will also wrap around the windows on the 1939 building. Below is a copy of the NPS Announcement that was received today.
