New exhibit on display at George Washington National Carver

DIAMOND, MISSOURI -

Visitors to George Washington Carver National Monument will now have a more scenic route to take.

It's thanks to new exhibit panels along the mile-long trail.

The panels feature original paintings inspired by Carver's childhood memories.

"They're very colorful - they're beautiful," says Park Ranger Diane Eilenstein.  "They tell a good story and they actually move the visitor along the trail in a somewhat chronological order of his life."
