Fight against tooth decay hits the stage in Jasper County

JOPLIN, MISSOURI -

The Tooth Wizard along with his sidekick, Panda, set out to take down their arch enemy Plaque Man.  It's all part of Delta Dental's musical "Land of Smiles" today at Kelsey Norman Elementary in Joplin.

They also made appearances at Emerson Elementary and Duquesne Elementary.

Delta Dental's mission is to help improve the oral health of more than 70,000 young Missourians.

"I think, especially with the musical that we're doing now, children remember music and I think that it's something that they can take with them for the rest of the day and hopefully their whole lives," says the Jubilant Jester, Jumpin' Jacamo.
