Southwest Missouri State Farm agents today donated more than $4,600 to help pay for new kitchen ranges at Joplin's Ronald McDonald House.
The Ronald McDonald House provides a home away from home for the families of hospitalized children and relies on donations like this.
"It's wonderful because it's always great when anybody wants to help us out, but when you have a major purchase such as two new ranges for your kitchen, that's not something that is easily accessible to do," says House Manager Tara Horinek.
State Farm agents raised the money over a years time. They are also contributing to the construction of a new Ronald McDonald House in Springfield.
