A logging company from Ozark, Missouri brought in a truck full of logs on Friday. The logs will be used to generate $10,000, which will be given to Children's Miracle Network to help families with children in the hospital.
This local donation is part of a national program called "Log a Load".
"I've got five children of my own," says logger Shannon Jarvis. "One of them is autistic and that's what really made me want to help give back to the kids."
Children's Miracle Network workers say it's seen an increased need since the tornado.
A tribute to the men and women in our community who have loyally served in the Armed Forces.
