Parking spot dispute prompts attempted murder charges for Parsons woman and her son

PARSONS, KAN. - Shana Curtis, 32, is charged with attempted first-degree murder, along with endangering a child.

Parsons police say she and her next-door neighbor were arguing over a parking spot on Belmont Avenue one week ago when the neighbor threw a snowball at Curtis.

Curtis then instructed her son to go get a gun.

Police say he fired multiple rounds at the home.

The juvenile is also facing attempted murder charges.
